Project made for ADICO, the Portuguese oldest metal furniture company.
The assignment included a concept for a new chair indoor/outdoor using the company's aesthetic language and material, the tubular steel.
Deeply inspired by Adico's heritage, Patella chair was brought to life under a very unique metal shape designed for an ergonomic and comfortable seating experience keeping simultaneously a sophisticated appealing.
Following a more bold approach and a visible influence from the 50's tubular design aesthetics, Patella, portraits a contemporary conception about our vision of a chair with its own language, along with a upholstered fabric seat with armrests sustained on a tubular steel structure.
